QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) MANAGER – ON SITE
SUMMARY
This position is a full-time onsite QA Manager position working for Loyal Source Government Services (LSGS) supporting prime contracts, programs, and subcontracts throughout the United States. The QA Manager is assigned to locations where LSGS is under contract to provide a host of services by contract, and performs a variety of quality tasks, including but not limited to quality audits, inspections, reviews, assessments, and investigations. The QA Manager on site functionally reports to the LSGS Quality Director at Headquarters but is assigned to the contract/program on site for financial purposes.
DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
The QA Manager provides oversight of Loyal Source’s program operations and subcontractors responsible for Program Management overall and Quality Management specifically. The focus of the QA Manager’s quality oversight effort involves the initial review and continuous review of major programs and key processes at the clinic site level to assure all contractual requirements are being met.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (10 years of quality assurance and/or US Government contracting or program management experience may be considered equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree). Experience with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) certification a must. Experience implementing and/or auditing a program to meet ISO 9001:2015 highly desired. Experience working at a major program implementing ISO 9001:2015 clauses highly desired. Understanding through proven performance and experience of the documentation requirements and process controls necessary to fully implement a Quality Management System.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Recent work performed within the medical field under major US Government Agencies such as Customs and Border Protection, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, Centers for Disease Control, Health and Human Services, Office of Refugee Resettlement, or other major agencies at the State level performing similar services.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Knowledge – a comprehensive understanding of the principles of quality control, quality assurance and program management in a variety of industries including Federal and State Government, Military and Healthcare
Skill – Competence with QA Methodologies, audit techniques, data collection and analysis, root cause analysis, and excellent writing and briefing skills
Abilities – Capability to analyze data and present observations of overall quality and program management practices, overseeing large programs with critical data and information, trend analysis, and other quality tools.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is a Nonsupervisory position; however, it requires tactical relationships to get work done through others.
KEY COLLABORATORS
The individual will collaborate with team members in quality specifically, and all departments in general. The position is nonsupervisory and requires individual motivation to meet the demands of establishing a new program in a large environment with multiple competing priorities at the site.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS
The environment is generally an office type location, medical clinic, or doctor’s office, generally indoors with some outdoor activity at times; however, some locations near the US border have austere conditions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position requires an individual in good health to perform the job duties, long periods of standing and walking with no significant limitations. Travel is not required except in unique situations.
